Course Description and Objectives
This class is designed to help couples build a Christ-centered, gospel-shaped marriage by deepening their love for God and one another. Singles are also invited to prepare for their future marriage. Through biblical instruction and practical application, participants will cultivate spiritual habits, strengthen communication and friendship, pursue holiness through repentance, and develop the attitudes and practices that foster a thriving, grace-filled marriage. Specifically we will aim to:
To grow in our love for and worship of God.
To grow in our love for our spouse.
Increasingly have our marriage become a testimony of the gospel.
To identify and repent of specific sins in our marriage.
To develop practical rhythms that will promote a grace-filled marriage.
To grow in the various aspects of marriage described by the required text:

Course Expectations
Reading
The students should complete the required reading before that class is taught. It is ideal for them to bring any comments/questions they have over the reading to the class for dialogue with the teacher(s).
Attendance
It is understood that in rare cases the students (and teachers) will be in town for every class. However, we are encouraging students to:
Come early
Attend each time it is possible
Listen to the recorded lecture when they miss class
