Why Go On?

1 Thessalonians 5:23-28 What are we looking for, showing up each Sunday morning?  A spiritual pep-rally?  A seminary-style lecture?  A session of psycho-therapy? A rebuke for our sorry performance?  Paul's letter concludes with a bracing dose of encouragement!  Let's reson together (Isaiah 1:18), and remember Jesus' warning: we should be careful how we listen (Luke 8:18).
