Kyuhoon (Kyu) Yo

Kyuhoon (Kyu) has been a member of C3 since 2020. He was raised in South Florida and is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he met his wife, Marie. They have been married since 2010 and are parents to three amazing children: Justus, Eden, and Azariah. With a degree in Chemical Engineering, Kyu is currently employed as a regional business manager for an industrial gas company within the chemicals industry.

Growing up as the child of immigrants, Kyu experienced firsthand the values of hard work and dedication modeled by his parents, both in their professions and church involvement. God has immensely blessed Kyu as he struggled through self-doubt and search for meaning which ultimately led to the cross of Jesus. Although naturally introverted, he continues to embrace opportunities that challenge him to engage with others.

Kyu and Marie relocated to Houston in 2012 but only felt a sense of home when they found C3. During their time as members, they have been involved in various ministries, including C3 Kids and C3 Serve, and have led and hosted a Community Group in the Jersey Village area since 2021. Kyu has served as a deacon since 2022.

In his personal life, Kyu enjoys spending time with his family and exploring new travel destinations. Together, the family remains active through running, bike riding, and playing soccer. They also enjoy listening to worship music and attempting to play chords on the guitar in their family band. The household is dedicated to worshiping God and is enthusiastic supporters of both Arsenal and the Florida Gators.
