Caleb grew up in Temecula, California, a small city in Southern California. Though he does not remember a time without Jesus as his savior, his high school youth group and grandfather’s discipleship greatly impacted him by teaching him to love the Bible and follow Jesus with his whole heart. After graduating from California Baptist University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, he married his wife Carol in the summer of 2023. Five months later, Caleb was laid off from his engineering job, and through much prayerful consideration, the newlyweds decided to pack up and move to Houston. They found C3 through 9Marks and The Gospel Coalition websites, and after one visit they never looked back.
Caleb is passionate about learning theology, studying God’s word, and loves to play a round of golf when the Houston weather will allow it. He longs to take after his childhood youth leaders in the way he disciples the high school and middle school students. He prays that the C3 youth ministry will be a place where students can, “Pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart” (2 Tim 2:22).
