Exile

1 Peter 2:11-12 In today's text the Apostle Peter, writing to Christ-followers living in a disapproving culture, echoes an OT concept familiar to Jews and to those of us who've been Eating This Book: what does it mean to live as a remnant in a foreign land?  Is this cause for despair?  Or can we see it as a prime opportunity, ripe with eternal benefits?
