Robert Lee

Robert was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma after his parents immigrated from Taiwan. He grew up in Plano and Richardson, Texas where his parents operated a Chinese restaurant as the family business.

Through his involvement with Campus Crusade for Christ at The University of Texas, Robert met his bride, Shara. He graduated with a history degree and married Shara in 1993. Although he was considering full-time ministry and attending seminary, the Lord directed him to pursue health care instead. Robert completed his dental degree at The University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston and began his military service immediately afterwards. During his residency program with the United States Air Force in Virginia, Robert‘s dream of becoming a father came true...times four. The Lord blessed him and Shara with quadruplets: Ryan, Garrett, Olivia and Spencer in 2000 and they welcomed their youngest daughter, Peyton in 2002.  Robert maintains an orthodontic private practice in Missouri City and is part-time faculty with the University of Texas School of Dentistry. He also serves on the Cleft Lip and Palate Team at Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Houston.

The Lees have been part of C3 from its inception and are actively involved in community group and children’s ministry. They also serve with Re-Engage, a ministry at C3 to strengthen and develop marriages.

zIMG_0338Lantz Bowman

Lantz Bowman, from Lubbock, grew up attending a small Southern Baptist church and witnessed his mom pray to receive Christ at the kitchen table during a Saturday morning visitation by the pastor. Lantz soon followed in his own profession of faith at the age of 8 but it was the strength of his mother’s faith during her five-year battle with breast cancer that would have the most significant impact on him. She died when he was 15 years old; her unwavering trust in God’s sovereignty would be one of the building blocks in Lantz’s journey of faith. While in college at Texas Tech University, Lantz grew in his relationship with the Lord through personal study and by being discipled by one of the Bible teachers from his church’s college ministry.

Since May 1999, Lantz has worked with Ronald Blue & Co. as a financial planner, helping his clients apply biblical principles of money management so they can better steward the resources God has put under their care.

While attending Houston’s First Baptist Church, Lantz became involved in the Singles’ Department and there met his future wife, Kelly. They were married in October 2001 and were blessed with their son, Hunter, in 2005 and then with their daughter, Mia, in 2007.

Lantz and Kelly have been active at C3Houston since late 2012. Since then, they have been active in C3Kids and leading the Fairfield CG. Lantz has also served on C3’s finance team. Lantz is humbled and honored to be a member of the elder team. He desires to use his gifts to bring glory to God and help toward C3’s commitment to Word, Community and Mission.

zIMG_0344Brandon Clarke

Brandon Clarke is a native Houstonian. Brandon came to the Lord at a summer camp when he was young. While in high school, Brandon was mentored through Student Venture (CRU for High Schools) and began attending Northwest Bible Church with friends. God used the love of friends and his Student Venture mentor to show Brandon a deeper connection to spiritual disciplines. Brandon attended Texas A&M University where he attended Grace Bible Church and was a member of BYX (Brothers Under Christ).

After college, Brandon worked for a short time as a 6th grade teacher in Aldine ISD at Caraway Intermediate School before attending law school at South Texas College of Law. Brandon met his bride, Beth, at a super bowl party for a single life class at Second Baptist Church. The two were married in Brandon’s second year of law school, in 2003. Brandon has worked as an office tenant representation broker at CBRE since 2006.

Brandon and Beth have been blessed with 6 children: Rebecca (2004), Cooper (2006), Harrison (2008), Elaina (2010), Cohen (2014), and Emelia (2016). TTheir older children have made a public proclamation of their faith and were baptized in our church. Additionally, Brandon’s parents, James and Linda attend C3, and his father recently professed his faith through baptism, after suffering a hemorrhagic stroke in late 2014.

The Clarkes have been very grateful for their time at C3 and the spiritual growth they have seen in their family. They began coming to C3 in January of 2012. While driving home after the first service they attended, their children were reciting Bible verses they had learned and continued requesting they be able to come back to C3. The Lord used their willing hearts and our church body to convince the Clarkes that this church was for them. They teach in C3Kids and also have led a Community Group. Brandon and Beth are passionate about several ministries, including Forgotten Voices, CRU, Desiring God, and others focused on aiding orphans, widows, the poor and needy, and captives.
